Pig ‘N’ Whistle Month of Whisky | All Venues
Here at Pig ‘N’ Whistle, we believe good whisky is worth celebrating! Throughout March, we’ll have a feature whisky each week, with information and history about each spirit with suggestions how to best enjoy it. Our Chefs are even creating a special dish each week, either utilising the whisky in the cooking process or pairing it with the dish perfectly.
Feature Whisky: Johnnie Walker
Founded in 1820 by the proprietor of a grocer’s in Kilmarnock, Johnnie Walker is one of the world’s most iconic brands of Scotch whisky. Learn more.
Savour it alongside: Wood fired Sirloin, Johnny Walker Whisky, pecan & maple butter, neeps and tatties, Brussel sprouts ($39)
Feature Whisky: Talisker
By as early as 1898, Talisker was one of the best selling malt whiskies in the UK. Through fire, war and financial crises, this northern outpost – Skye’s oldest distillery – has remained strong: producing consistently fine whiskies which, once tried, are rarely forgotten. Stay tuned to learn more.
Feature Whisky: Lagavulin
Peated malt, slow distillation and long maturation together ensure Lagavulin develops a complex, rich, peaty character. Lagavulin is a spirit which likes to take its time. Stay tuned to learn more.
Feature Whisky: Copper Dog
A Scotch whisky that sums up all that is good about Speyside. Stay tuned to learn more.
